“Existentialism and Health” with Peter Koestenbaum

This seminar, recommended to me by my psychiatrist at the time Dr. Noel Morrell set the basic tone of my philosophical studies; that rather than a path to some sort of supposedly advanced knowledge, philosophy was as suspect as any other distraction on the path to authenticity. It was something to be done and gotten over with in the pursuit of nominally ordinary affairs. A therapy, in short.

Koestenbaum was hugely influential upon me, as well recognized me as a protoge’.
